I only used it maybe 6 times. It's still sharp enough to shave hair off my arm.

I haven't used the knife in a very long time I'm more of a collector and my knife skills aren't the best. I think it came with 70/30. I remember it preforming very good the few times I used it.

I have the Takeda and really like it. Takeda knives are kind of unique some people love them some don't. I pesonally love the rustic look and performance wise its right at the top IMO.

When I was learning I used a 10k and then a balsa strop loaded with .3 micron CO. These days I Find i stop at around 5k. The strop really does take knive sharpness to the next level but I prefer a bit "toothier"edge.
