Checking in on this post and hopefully, incoming Yahiko R2 210mm gyutos. I guess no update yet?

Not sure what you are referring to, but Mark brought in Murata AS knives. I found a Murata B1 210 gyuto on bst. My Murata B1 165 santoku was my first knife too and now, I have more knives than I’ll ever need.

Man, this a deal. But I’m saving up for an ukulele. I need to sell my knives, not buy more!

Not a typo, but I think the Gihei Santoku has the first picture correct and then the next three are of the Sakai Usuba.

Ronnie, that's one of the main reasons I check this page consistently and I have looked back in past posts. See what knife you're using and if you had any comment on it. Plus i get another shot of a knife that's totally different from the CKTG 4ea.pics. I appreciate it.

I prefer the Sanjo style. Most of my favorites are W2, but I enjoy SLD. I vote Kono Sumiiro SLD.

Beautiful Knife. I already have a 270 migaki but I like the grind on his nashiji line.

Is the spine relieved? I had a similar knife where the spine had ridges due to the stamping/ hammering the tsuchime.

Maybe Mark could give some info on this Yahiko line? Harukaze upgrade? I like the Sakura handle!

Surprised the Kurouchi Damascus, Santoku and Gyuto are still available.

Second the Kohetsu SLD. Pretty much stainless steel in my experience.
