Recurves spyderco triangle stones
Has anyone mounted or used triangle shaped stones on the edge profor recurves or just sharpening in general. The spyderco sharpmaker Stones work well. I assume with just using the point of the stone it would follow the recurves well.

I like the diamond stones cause there is no mess with water. Do you use water with the edge pro diamond stones and do they dish

New edge pro diamond stones
I have a cktg diamond stone for the ep 140 and 400 I really like them. I am fixing to buy the 1000. I saw the edge pro has a whole line up of diamond stones has anyone tried any of these how do they compare to the cktg diamond stones. I assume my grit progression is fine then I kind of thought I may have to big a jump between the 2000 ep and .5 spray so what's the next level I need to jump too?

I see no value in hair whittling it was just cool that it was possible. I like around 2000 grit edge for my purposes

My current set up is cktg diamond 140 and 400 then I do 400 ep then the 1000 ep then the 2000 polish tape I have a plain leather strop to finish it off.

If a person had polish tape a Shapton glass and a chosera of equal grit what stone would produce a toothy edge in the high grit range. And what grit would that need to be.
