I should say, it's all natural as in it was only produced with food, but I made sure to only cut hot proteins (primarily chicken) wit...

Re: Kanjo VG10 Black Damascus Bunka 180mm

Hey guys! I'm sorry, we had a last minute change of plans and took off out of town the week before Christmas to see my wife's family instead of the week after Christmas. I forgot the knife may have been coming my way. I found it today while picking our mail from our time away. The box looks in good ...

Re: Would you do this with your Shibata R2?

I think the real issue here is very clear: she states several times that she's seen the knife go through phone books and pineapple online unscathed, implying toughness. I imagine a lot of people confuse sharpness with toughness when people online cut plastic bottles filled with water or phone books...

Back in the snow and missing island life so we made a nod to a little hula pork this week. I had my camera laying on the kitchen table from the trip yet, sooo a Kono vanity shot, ha.

Re: Site Issues?

I've been having issues for weeks on two of my computers. When I go to the Forum or refresh, I get a error page...sometimes it persists for several minutes, other times reloading/refreshing a few times and it works. I will get a screen shot when it happens again....usually several times a day. Thin...

Re: Favorite steak and how you cook it?

Add one more to the list of sous vide fans. Especially in the summer when I can get the kamado ripping afterwards (typically grilling some of the sides) and get a great sear on the cast iron moon in 30 seconds. Top with a little roasted garlic and rosemary butter and you're set.
