Don't be too critical with yourself. That's a fine looking knife most of us would be proud to own.

I'm a moderator for a BBQ forum. We have a 1 post approval setup. That's all that is needed. You'll know with that first post if it's a spammer or legitimate new member.

#2 - I have to strongly disagree with this one. Once EVOO starts to burn even a little it becomes very acrid and stale tasting. EVOO is only good for a finishing oil put into already cooked items to impart an extra flavor layer. I almost never use EVOO. #5 totally agree. I always want to start in a ...

Re: HHH Knives, River of Fire. Scimitar

I'll be honest I'm not thrilled with that Damascus pattern but it looks really good for that knife. All around superb job. Thanks for your honest input!!! To be even more honest your knives are the ones I lust after the most. The craftsmanship you put into all your creations is just over the top. I...

Re: Takayuki Damascus vs Takayuki Ginsan Wa-Gyuto 240mm

It could take 2 weeks to 2 months to restock. If your set on that knife I'd wait but there are great knives in Stock you could also look at. http://www.chefknivestogo.com/kamo.html I think you would appreciate this knife I recently bought my wife one of those in the 210 mm version.
