Catch and release. I received this yesterday and decided it's not for me. I didn't even use it since receiving it. Looks to be a mid 1970s nogent blade and measures at 250mm x 50mm. I think one of the most important things that go towards making one a better cook / chef is the willingness to try new foods. If the foods you eat are narrow, so are your horizons for making good recipes. Try all kinds of veggies, even tofu, kale etc as well as liver, oysters clams raw fish etc etc...

I guess I know what I'm spending my Christmas money on! Non-Stick Pans, get a cheap one... replace it in a year or two don't spend bank on an expensive one.
