Re: Small/Medium Knife Case to stick inside another bag

Don't spend tons of money. It can be done cheap. Just get a padded case: https://www.knifemaking.com/product-p/r16n.htm

Easily fits three knives, make some cardboard sheaths toss it in your back pack and call it good.

Man I'm the only one that voted horizontal. For what it's worth the horizontal worked better on my Samsung phone.
Same, I do most my shopping/browsing from a tablet or phone. For that application, horizontal is much better imo.

Re: PayPal Family & Friends

I have always been afraid to send money to trusted vendors via FF for fear they might get in trouble. As an example, I have purchased multiple knives from Carter Hopkins and trust him 100%, however, my fear is that if I sent money in the form of friends and family that his account might get flagged....

Glad PP is resolving. Never do friends and family unless they are a friend or family.

I think it may have already been mentioned earlier in this thread, but the test kitchen method of salt, oil and potato skins works well. https://www.cooksillustrated.com/videos ... l-skillets

Just a small kitchen here, but more than enough space to feed my little ones.
Love the cleavers! What kind of crepe pan is that on the stove?
Wow, good eye, I can barely see it. It is a Newquist Forge crepe pan, although last night it was a grill cheese pan.

Is that the same as pakka wood?

That is what I would bet. Pressed laminated wood is fairly common. It seems to hold up to wear and tear fairly well. I would take it over plastic if those were my only two options.

what kind of blades and what is the timeline? it sounds fun, id like to do a sculpted western style with the dovetailed scales

I have actually always wanted to try a sculpted western, similar to Don Nguyens recent few or Jelle.

Inzite, what is the spine thickness? It looks thin, but at the same time seems to have some meat to the convexing.
