Re: Show us your new knife!

Beauty. I have been on Raders list for the last 6 years or so, every time my name comes up I just jump right back on.

I'd just keep on using it for now and see how it goes before going through all the hassle of stripping and reseasoning it.
Definitely, just keep using. It may not affect performance at all. Stripping is a pain and the rest the seasoning looks great

Takeda, under or over sized?

I regret selling my Takeda and noticed the AS is back in stock...I am trying to get one in the 220-225 range. The question is, do Takedas run larger or smaller than listed length.

If you have a Takeda, what is the actual v. listed edge length?

Here's one of them. I'll do a few more tomorrow.

Your giving them back? They need to be confiscated.

Aye!
That's a nice collection there. Gotta wonder what brought these knives so low :(

Question: can the KU finish be preserved in such a state?
I think you can just spray some Rust-Oleum black paint on them, lol.

It looks pretty low to me, and a little uneven but pics can be deceiving.

I have always been a fan of Warther. Good steel, reasonable grind, thin edge, thin tip...checks a lot of boxes.

One in each hand here. Give it a good whack on a flat surface the pull apart with your thumb and pinky.

They are owned by Photobucket so I am not really surprised. I wish Google Photos has a message board code to insert like Imagur has....pretty sure they are financially secure.

Damnit. Too busy working to notice this before the shig was sold. Nice snag whoever got it.
