Are you storing it in a saya or felt lined edge guard? That's just asking for trouble. Both tend to trap moisture.

I'm in Pensacola, and have no issues with my iron clad knives stored on a magnetic strip.

I'll post a pic tomorrow of the spine. It is very nicely done, and one of the better knives (maybe the best) I've used to make horizontal cuts in an onion - just glides through.
