Re: Transporting knives

I overkill my travel. Got some great RCTIC cases (think Pelican cases) REALLY cheap awhile back. Just chunk them in with my luggage. No worries 😂. Again, overkill.

Bought several times from Bob. As honest as it gets in his descriptions. If I didn't have the 240 I would be all over this.

Re: Custom Rehandle on Kohetsu

Does an oven at 190 not work Ben? I have had some success with that. I haven’t tried the boiling water. Have you had any success with epoxy with that method? I have some of my personal blades that have me dumbfounded to get off, without destroying them. TIA

Perfect timing. Got some for the elderly neighbors, hospital donation and sent some to my daughter who I just found out is pregnant.👍🏻

Re: No service interruptions.

I thought the same thing and posed myself this question. Is it because ( in theory) the general population doesn’t or isn’t expected to be in such close proximity to others as opposed to health care workers that must get within hands length? Ergo the health professionals need them more so the gen po...

Re: No service interruptions.

I'm in for some. Just gave my last 4 to my 80 yr old neighbors. They asked me AFTER I donated the ones in my construction trailer to the hospital. It's the very old and very young I worry most about.

I think us old Scotch drinkers will be fine! :)

Re: Getting Started with Inherited Stones vs. Buying New

No experience with the Togiharu but give it a shot. You may like it. The King 6k will work but master the 1k first (stole that line. He knows who he is 😂). The diamond plate I would only use for flattening stones. Watch Peter’s videos. Often and multiple times. Then decide if you need new stones. An...

It happens. Did it to me once also. We’re both on the same side of the continent and I think my box saw more states than I have! 😂

It will get to you.
