Thanks Darius.
It is an absolute beauty :D
Wasn't sure how Vivienne would take this new arrival, what with my recent purchases.

WTS - Two Mike Jones Knife and Tool chef knives

For me sheaths are a knife killer. They do trap moisture where I live. I use sayas or gun paper and lightly coat the blade with camellia oil.
Where do you store long term?
I have a couple of drawers that I put my less used knives in. The drawers have VCI cartridges in them.

You can still buy knives in the UK?....lol, kidding.

Welcome to the forum. Some pretty good smiths/ knife makers in the UK. Once you get in deep check out Dan Prendergast and Will Catchesides.
+1. Both are great makers.

Just a little deferentially hardened 10,000 layer Damascus from Master Smith Rader. I am not a fan of flashy Damascus, but this muted layering suits me just fine.
Matt. That is simply stunning!
The handle looks so comfortable.
Well done mate!

Re: Carbon Skillets

Garrick...yes indeed. In fact it is my daily go to pan now. I rarely use another. I really like my DeBuyer pans but this one just ticks all the boxes for me. It is much lighter than other carbons due to the thinner sides and those sides are not as tall as most other pans. So unless you are cooking ...
