Hi wssviper, I do not own either of the 2 knives, but yes, a thinner blade should generally cut "easier" to a point where other factors could also come into play....relief/primary edge angles, blade profile etc. For example a taller blade with a flat grind will have more "stiction&quo...

Have you considered that the knife profile & blade thickness can contribute towards the cutting performance as well.....
Also IMHO a well defined 1K edge should fall through most anything.
