It was not fragile at all. Didn’t seem thinner than my Takamura. Both are stiff so that helps with the thinness. Had to pry it from my daughters hand to use it. She loved it.

Did not take the knives to any stones so don’t know how hard nitro is to sharpen.

Received the knives today in good shape. Will start using them. Touch and feel just so far but like what I see.

For some time when using my iPhone to see the posts in this forum I have not been able to see the imbedded videos. Just blank space.

You would not regret the second choice from Mark. Heck if a knife but then all from CKTG are great knifes. Go for the one that you like the looks of best.

Yes I have noticed the same thing. I just assumed they have been updating the site.

I have an oval diamond sharpening steel. I just grin the peeler over it a couple of passes. Works well. Wouldn’t buy anything to do this but I had it and tried it out. Surprised me how well it worked.
