This Misono Swedish is not a super reactive knife. Going the natural route will create a more stable patina (and better looking IMO). Simply use as intended and wait to see the results. Sometimes I let protein juices sit on the knife extra long to make the process faster, but overall, my experience ...

I now live in a fairly humid climate (MD). Never had rust issues. If I am storing for a long period of time I will air dry overnight before I put away. Everything else just gets wiped dried. I have not read through all of this post yet, so this may have been mentioned. I would love to have a new posts button. I like reading all the posts, but hate having to scroll through pages to do it. I like when forums have a "new posts" button I can press and read all new info.
