Freshly sharpened & stropped

Post by Chocu1a »

Took my new Yoshimune to work to give it a workout. Just glides right through a perfectly ripe tomato.

It's interesting with the yoshimune;
I've noticed over the past year so many of these being sold here on the classifieds that I got the impression they don't fit everyone

I dunno. They are tallish. Great profile. Thin enough behind the edge. Great price. Cool esthetics. Maybe not a ton of distal taper, and a bit heavy blade forward, but the tip thins out fine.

I would put Yoshimune hand in hand with Tanaka for bang for buck entry level stainless clad carbon.
