Don't worry Spence. From the looks of it, with her knives, the worst that can happen is probably a bruise.

She might as well be using a serrated blade with those motions. I like how she says to curl your fingers and then doesn't do that at all!! This chick scares the shit out of me.

Just remember, if you're ever doubting yourself in the pursuit of a dream, that someone paid this woman to teach people to cook. Paid her. With money.

Your dream is within your reach.

Holy crap. I just watched the first bit of the "cleaver" video. WTF?!?!?! That one is by far the most insane I've seen so far.

What on earth is she doing??? As short as it is, I don't think there is a single moment where she says or does a single thing that is accurate, true, or safe. Not one. And of course she contradicts her own single direction she gives at the beginning with every single cut she does (not a single cut so much as smack, hack, and then grind with your weight).

Yeah, that one with the nakiri was frightening. I'd love to see a closeup of the edge after that abuse.

Yes, she's terribly awkward with the knife. She behaves like an alien trying to be human. Mimics instructions without understanding the motives behind them. Like her claw grip that actually never becomes a claw and she never uses her knuckes for guidance, violently rocking the knife without any stability. Here are a couple of screen shots.

So, my knife skills are probably fair at best. I try, I use common sense and I don't do anything overly awkward or silly. But this, this is just awful. Is she doing this on purpose? I watched that last video and thought for sure she was going to stab herself!

I know how to get her to forget about the frozen turkey........get her a mandolin slicer.

Seriously, these are the worst how-to videos I've ever seen. Chopping through a crab leg with a nakiri???? In the dicing onion video she had white knuckles holding the onion for the horizontal cuts. The list goes on.

I need to watch a CGuarin video, just to calm down. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ddFtftDKzI&t=162s
