150mm tall petty in AEB-L for my first overseas customer

Post by Thezep »

Here's a little doozy I just finished the other day. I'm tempted to keep it but they would be too heartbroken

I made these scales as well, he requested this color combination. These are made from food safe bar top epoxy. This stuff can really take a beating.

The grind, full flat with a little bit of a convex near the edge

Bevel here to allow for a nice pinch grip. I also made the liner material out of the same epoxy.

Thanks, I prefer wood and g10 with accents of bright coloration instead of it being the main event. But hey, custom knife maker gotta put the "custom" part to work sometimes lol.

It's a dangerous habit to start, I'm like a crack fiend and grinding and polishing is how I get my fix. If you have any questions feel free to ask, I'm by no means the greatest knifemaker on earth but I've been 'round the block a few times now.

Thanks. I have the 1084 in the basement and a couple knifemakers I have asked a ton of questions of already. I will add you to the list.

I have a few "loyal customers" who have expressed interest in my blades, so I should be able to get some hands on feedback..

i need an other way to sell my handles, hahahah

I have a few ongoing client projects that could wrap up in a week or so depending on how life plays out. I will post my first blade for people to see here and a few other blade forums...

The original purchaser of this knife sold it to me and Ive just been doing a little research on it. This is a fantastic little knife and Im a little sad that I cannot pass my love of it onto the maker.
The handle although a little garish is very comfortable, and the blade sharpens well and has a brilliant profile.
It seams to have travelled a bit too. From Texas (?), to Scotland, to South/East England.
RIP Todd
