Shiro Kamo Petty

Post by limpet »

I took some photos of my Shiro Kamo Limited Edition Petty that I think turned out really great, so I'll share them here as well. Sometimes, the mobile phone camera can produce good pictures in combination with Instagram filters. ;)

Great petty with aogami #2 core steel and reactive cladding. Sometimes it feels like Shiro Kamo gets stuck in the middle. Not an old master with lots of hype and not young and promising. Just a maker of really good knives with a lot of bang for the buck.

Looks nice! I constantly consider a 150 petty of his.
I'm Dave. I don't take myself too seriously and you probably shouldn't either.

Those are some nice photos! That cutting board makes a good backdrop.

Yes! I had a chance to use a friend's Shiro Kamo 240 gyuto and I was pleasantly surprised by it's performance... enough to consider one for myself!
