Hahahahaha. I don't think I've ever seen that before. Yeah, that's an oversight that may not last long.

It's called OAL (OverAll Length), and is a common specification for knives, along with blade and/or edge length, weight, height at the heel and spine width. In what way is it a "parlor trick"?

The silhouette holding the knife with point-in-palm.
I wouldn't want anything sharper than a dollar-store knife - let alone a MAC - pointing thus into my palm :lol:

I've seen Amazon use that exact same illustration on several items to give perspective of size.
