My current smorgasbord
My current smorgasbord
So, this is my current smorgasbord of gyutos. That is, the ones that I can fit into my kitchen cabinet. I have more, so I have to do some rotations from time to time.
Edit: Hmm, it seems the bbcode embed cropped the picture. Anyways, if you click on it, you can see it on instagram.

Sweet lost city of Atlantis! I just showed this to my wife: "this is how many most guys own" - didn't work.
Re: My current smorgasbord
@ckreef: Nope, what I need is more space to put the rest of my gyutos on display.
@schools out: Nice try!
@dAviD: Yes, I'm very pleased with my Konosuke HD2 and I like the ordinary ho wood handle. I'm also happy I selected the 270 version.

Here's another collection. Akifusa AS knives made by Masami Asai. It's an old photo, but I still got them all.
The ones I use the most: k-tip gyuto 240, gyuto 180, hakata 170 and petty 160.

That's a Hinoura kiritsuke gyuto. Big knife with 250 edge length. The handle is made of dyed maple burl.
