As a stropper and occasional ceramic hone user this new tool has my interest but not really enough info about it to get me to spend my hundred bucks (yet). Is it an improvement only because its flat?

would this be fun to try as a pass around maybe traveling with a knife?

Re: Nano hone Ceramic Stropping Rod
I don't see this being that convenient to use. Not any better than a stone, strop or standard ceramic rod. And not for the price, $100 bucks will buy a nice stone or a lot of stropping supplies.
If God wanted me to be a vegetarian he wouldn't have made animals taste so good.
