Shiro Kunimitsu 240mm gyuto passaround

Post by Jsgillis86 »

So it's time for Scientology to go backpacking 'round the good ol' US of A, see the sights and all. I'm pretty much "whatever bro" on this knife so no need for insurance or any of that. All I ask is that you not be a dick (I am hoping to get some small percentage of return on my investment so no splitting firewood, ice sculpting or any of that) and that you write something about your experience with her after all is said and done.

Time per user is one week unless otherwise determined by me. I'll cap the participant limit when I feel like it. Every aspect of this is subject to change because I have to say that because shit happens.

Anybody interested? $15 and you could test drive a new knife. Might learn something.

I'd definitely be interested but I'm up in Canada. Postal rates have gone through the roof...

@desol, I'll swing by the post office when I get up and moving tomorrow and find out how much it'd be. I'd actually be interested to hear what you've got to say about her.

So far we have...

Tom
Miller
and Pineapple

I'm pretty sure McNelly and Cutuu are in too, unless something's changed.

@Kit, my hands are just too big for most 210s. Same goes for nakiris and santokus. My oversized pinch grip plus skimpy blade length equals not enough cutting edge for me to work with efficiently.

Sorry this took so long guys. Recovering from dental surgery actually isn't as easy as I thought it would be. And onward.

Alrighty, we've got...

Cutuu
Señor Piña
Tom
Miller
McNelly

...in that order. I'll get her out in a day or two.

I've been thinking of including another knife just for funsies. It would up the shipping cost cause you guys'd actually have to insure it, but... Thoughts? I'm sure I've got a couple you guys would like to try.

Sir... If there's any room left... While your sucking ice cream through a straw and wearing your right hand numb with hustlers...
If I may.. If I might... Be on this passaround to
