Konosuke MM Blue #2 Passaround
My friend Ethan pm’d me about doing a passaround for a Konosuke 240 MM and offered to buy the knife when we’re finished with it. He hasn’t hosted one of these before so I told him I would lead it.
Would any of you like to try it?
Criteria:
100 Post minimum
In USA only.
1 Week per person please.
Prefer those that haven’t done a pass around lately.
Let’s keep it to about 8 people.
I’ll finish sharpen the knife before I send it out. I’ll move this thread to the passaround forum after we get rolling.

Re: Konosuke MM Blue #2 Passaround
I'm very interested in this knife and actually have only participated in one pass around this year. Would love to try before I buy.
I'd be happy to host it too if you need/want someone to.

Great you’re #1. Do you want me to sharpen or do you want to see the factory edge?

Re: Konosuke MM Blue #2 Passaround
I have not done any in a while and would love to try the MM. however you can put me at the bottom and I will defer if there are more participants than the allotted amount.
Re: Konosuke MM Blue #2 Passaround
Ugh. Haha, NOOOWWW there's a passaround of course. Well, I will be looking fwd to reading other's thoughts regarding this gyuto.
I also think that a passaround is a great idea. Shed some more light on this sleeper of a knife. Believe others will be quite turned on to this once the participants here start posting their thoughts.

Re: Konosuke MM Blue #2 Passaround
I've never done one before, and I live in Canada. Not really sure how these work either in regards to paying for the usage and shipping. I'm interested but totally understand if you want to keep the knife in the states.Jeff B wrote: ↑Sat Oct 27, 2018 5:51 pm This is who we have so far unless Mark says otherwise.

Re: Konosuke MM Blue #2 Passaround
Sorry Drew, would love to add you but it's just too cost prohibitive to send this to Canada.

I’ve been looking forward to participating in one of these. Of course it’s for one I already have haha. I’ve already said enough positive things about this knife I think. I’m curious to hear what everyone thinks.

Re: Konosuke MM Blue #2 Passaround
All good. I don't even know what I've spent on shipping alone this past year with all the purchases and some rehandles. I find that if I find one knife I really want I bunch more on to save shipping.

Re: Konosuke MM Blue #2 Passaround
Im actually going to drop out. I do mostly fish butchery and wouldnt feel comfortable using this knife doing that. Id like to let someone else take it through the paces and give me some better feedback.Jeff B wrote: ↑Sat Oct 27, 2018 5:51 pm This is who we have so far unless Mark says otherwise.
