WTS stones
WTS stones
Let's try this now.
Chosera 1k, miyabi rebranded. used once, I'm keeping the 800 instead, this is the old 25 mm in height model. 65 shipped
Suehiro rika 6k. I've had this for a long time, but I have used it very sparingly, it looks a little beat up, but it has almost all its life left. 50 shipped
Naniwa super stone 10k. Same as the suehiro, I just never really used it, I like it well enough, but I don't go that high in grit, specially on a synthetic stone. This one is missing a corner, but it doesn't really impact performance. 55 shipped
Yaginoshima asagi. Big brick, 20 x 9 x 4 cm, nice finisher and decent polisher, not too hard, but a little work behind the edge makes everything a lot easier on this one. 180 shipped
Ohira renge suita. 20.7 x 8 x 4 . Fast, hard, fine. Lots of renge. Great polisher, killer edge. 600 shipped
Unknown mine suita. 20 x 7.6 2~3. Another suita, a little softer than the ohira, produces some slurry, polishes to,semi mirror with a hazy jigane and some contrast. 280 shipped
Yaginoshima suita. 21.5 x 7.6 x 4. Full sized stone, about as hard as the ohira, great polisher, easy to use considering how hard it is, very nice kasumi and killer edge. 450 shipped
Unknown mine suita 2. 19.5 x 7 x 3.5 .Maybe ohira? Slightly softer and coarser than the ohira renge, very fast and easy to use stone, great Kashmir with good contrast. 400 shipped.
Narutaki asagi tomae coppa. 13.2 x 6.3 x 1.5. Great little stone, still workable with full sized knives, excellent for in hand touch ups and as a travel stone. This will give a really nice kasumi finish. 85 shipped
Shoubudani asagi. 18 x 6.2 x 2.3. Hard and fine stone, hard but not glassy, with nice feedback. It will produce nice kasumi, but you have to work for it. 160 shipped
Thanks for looking!

Soooooo tempted!
I'm Dave. I don't take myself too seriously and you probably shouldn't either.

Re: WTS stones
damn, I'm super interested. The naniwa SS looks really thin? I thought they came in 20mm
Re: WTS stones
I bought the Yagi and Shoubu asagi's from Ivan, I just wanted to let everyone know they were exactly as stated and exceedingly well packed and shipped. If you have any hesitation about the stones or shipping, don't because they are great.
