Catch and release. I picked this up recently from JNS mostly just to compare to my 270 Watanabe. Without getting into a big Wat vs Toyama thing, I think I prefer the particular Wat that I have so I’m letting this one go. It hasn’t been sharpened or used at all.

I mentioned to Maksim that I’m a lefty and that I was looking for an unbiased grind. This arrived with the D-handle rotated for a lefty so I’m assuming Maksim switched it around for me. This could be easily switched back to righty, but as a lefty I actually prefer a righty D handle for what it’s worth. It was interesting to compare side by side.

Dimensions are 273x59. Weight is 265g. Steel is Blue (2 I think?).

Let me know if any questions. $450 including insured CONUS shipping and fees, etc.

I’ve bought a couple knives from Blue, he’s a solid seller and that’s a stellar knife! GLWS

It’s interesting you kept the Wantanbe. Makes me wanna try one. I’ve always been curious.

So much variation from both mentioned makers, honestly whichever has the desired weight and profile is the one worth keeping.
