WTB: Practice single bevel.

Post by Robstreperous » Sat Oct 14, 2017 9:11 am

Looking for a single bevel knife to practice sharpening on. My goal is learning to maintain a consistent shinogi line and improving my polishing skills on the blade road.

- Looking to stay under $100.
- Strong preference for carbon.
- Staining, patina, handle condition, edge condition less of a concern.

PM me if you have anything.

Once I know I can sahrpen these well I'm hoping to pick up a Usuba.

I did the same thing a while back but I just went ahead and bought a Tojiro White Steel Yanagiba for $126. Learned a lot with that knife, last week I bought a Tojiro Usuba for $82.
