Goko Hammered Damascus 240 Gyuto - SOLD!

Post by GopherBroke »

This knife has some minor cosmetic issues, and was sold by CKTG at a reduced cost because of these issues.
Being that the knife is no longer available there is no longer a product page, and limited info on the blade.
I do know that the core steel is 19C27, and the other metal used to form the Damascus layering is SUS4106, and the HRC is 60
Asking $100 includes Priority Shipping.
PayPal friend/family preferred.

Feedback, or input I've gotten basically amount to:
""The knife will never get as sharp as a Moritaka AS, or Shibata Kotetsu. It will take an edge that is equal to or better than major brand Germans (Wustof, Henckel's, etc). The edge retention is excellent, and the edge will remain sharp enough for use... for what seems like forever"".

*This is not my personal experience or knowledge.
Just thought I'd share since I couldn't find too info on the blade.

😉
