A FEW KNIVES FOR SELL
A FEW KNIVES FOR SELL
Up for sell are the following:
Zkramer 10" Essential SOLD
This one has been thinned and tuned by Jon at JKI. For those who don't know, this is one amazing cutter now. Literally falls through food.
Zkramer 10" Meiji new $285
Kaeru 240mm gyuto SOLD
Tsubaya (Shiraki) 230 x 48mm White #2 gyuto wearing walnut. This has seen some light use in the kitchen. Original edge still. Mind blowing performance. $255 (my apologies for the wrong price originally listed)
Prices include PayPal and shipping conus. Outside of the US we can discuss shipping.

Re: A FEW KNIVES FOR SELL
And another shot of the Tsubaya gyuto (the one with kurouchi finish on the right) :
Re: A FEW KNIVES FOR SELL
Listed the Tsubaya price wrong. Simply a typo. Not $355, it's $255.
My apologies

$250 for the Meiji.
As for the Tsubaya, to answer some curiosity, I would put this up against any knife in any collection performance-wise. It's that good.

Re: A FEW KNIVES FOR SELL
Hey hope everything is going well. Would you be willing to trade for the Tsubaya?
Re: A FEW KNIVES FOR SELL
Maybe? I'm more so really just trying to generate funds for a custom. But always curious!ButlerHoosierChef wrote: ↑Wed Oct 17, 2018 8:22 am Hey hope everything is going well. Would you be willing to trade for the Tsubaya?
Re: A FEW KNIVES FOR SELL
Dang I'm tempted by the Tsubaya.. I have a tsubaya Tanaka B#1 and these are just stellar knives. Maybe if it's still here in a day or two.

Re: A FEW KNIVES FOR SELL
Hello Marc.
I would like to give this knife a try. Consider it sold.
Apparently I am having issues contacting pepole because I am brand new to the site.
Hopefully we will be able to get i contact with each other.
Regards David

Re: A FEW KNIVES FOR SELL
That looks very similar to my Tsubaya Tanaka. Love that knife. Looks crazy thin at the edge. GLWS!!
Re: A FEW KNIVES FOR SELL
Ive decided to keep this Tsubaya gyuto. I also encourage anyone looking for a seriously badass performing wide bevel gyuto to check these out while they're still in stock.
I'm really surprised this didn't sell quicker, but I suppose this gyuto is still a bit unknown. There was a buyer just recently, but prior to that I took it to work and used it a bit. A farewell prep session if you would. Rookie mistake, I know. It's hard to raise funds that way.
Anywho, this knife won't be going anywhere anytime soon.
Thank you all for the prior sells and interest
Edit* after posting this I literally just got a message from Mr. Hokuto that these are once again out of stock. My apologies

David, my most sincere apologies! I honestly and totally didn't see your post on here. I feel bad, how rude of me!
