The square kanji is identical to the Fujiyama square. Not the writing inside, but the actual square. Thought that was interesting. Gorgeous knife all around. GLWS.

Really sweet knives. Had 2 at one point. It sounds cliche, and takes away from the special-ness of this knife when said, but this is about as close as one will come to a classic wide beveled B1 Fujiyama.

I disagree . Similar yes . I’ve been cutting side by side with them and I can say , the kyuzo isn’t as thin at the tip but nearly as thin at the edge overall and performance is quite outstanding !
Also , same Smith for both lines (Yoshikazu Tanaka)
Awesome knife , great price , someone better snag this one ASAP!

GLWS
Cannot believe I am not going to buy this (probable going to kick myself later on) at this price/condition. I have sat with my finger hovering over the buy new button at least a dozen times.
If it matters to anyone..ashley is top notch with shipping out.

If I didn't have to buy new CPAP supplies... I'd be all over it, had it in 210 and was a little too small.

What do you mean that wide bevels dont "jive" with you? Is there a performance difference in wide bevels? or is it by sharpening that you mean? Confused how wide bevel would change anything.

I guess it's a performance thing. My cutting style works better with other types of grinds it seems.

Buyer decided to bail and ignore my messages so this is available again. Will leave it up for the weekend then re-evaluate whether I want to sell.

This is crazy to me. Such an amazing blade, and they sell so quickly on the Hitohira site.
