Richmond addict - WTB
Might be interested in a Richmond Addict 240 if anyone has one laying around that they don't use anymore. Never seen one, never held one, just looks like an interesting knife to own.

Congratulations! Was it the Richmond SLD by Konosuke? That’s a fantastic knife.

Nick, I sold him my SLD. - Kidding, don't come murder me in my sleep.
I'm Dave. I don't take myself too seriously and you probably shouldn't either.

Ha, if Nick wasn't the nicest beast of a man I know, I'd still be terrified for just making the joke.

I'd do it very publically to make a statement!

Not sure, but I think I've got the addict 2 (CPM154 steel) coming. Its got the rosewood handle - will probably just be a part of my collection, I've got a few taller gyutos that I like to use at times - especially when doing celery.

That video of the Richmond was sick! Never worked with one before but I’d like to give it a try!

Re: Richmond addict - WTB
it's an Addict version 1.0 according to The seller. Spine about 2.51mm as it exits the handle, 56.23mm high at heel - about 246 on the edge. All of the surfaces (sans cutting edge) are extremely polished - very comfortable. I tried a few onions and did the potatoes for breakfast tonight (whodathunk I would be going back to a kitchen after my day) - had to try it a bit more. The height is really nice for me (2xl glove size) and it seems like I missed something not being on this site earlier. One nice knife that will move into rotation after Christmas - till then my home knife is my thinned Ultimatum and my second job knife will be a Richmond GT. Thank you CKTG - the forum has brought me several knives that I love using
