Always some words of wisdom in your writings Peter, like don't let your ego get in the way of learning. Even someone with much less experience may be able to teach you something if they're willing to share.

Thank you again for your willingness to share and continue to teach us underlings. ;)

If there is one characteristic you encounter more than any other among people who've mastered a skill, it's the drive to always learn more. There's a sweet spot between thinking you know it all and being paralyzed with doubt. When you can stay in that zone you're pretty much always eagerly searching, always striving to do it better and reach toward an ever-receding ideal. I'm new to sharpening but I've interviewed thousands of accomplished people over the decades and it's a thing you see time and time again.
