Michiaki Tanaka deceased

It is with great personal sadness that I am announcing that Michiaki Tanaka of Tanaka Toishi Kougyousho, who I represent as his international distributor, passed away on Tuesday, 10/23/18 at 8:39 PM, Japan time . He passed away as a result of subarachnoid hemorrhage of sudden onset..The funeral service were held on 10/28 Sunday at 10 am in Kyoto City.. In addition to my professional relationship, I also mourn his passing as my mentor. He was a leading member of the Kyoto Natural Sharpening Stone Union, Kyoto Sharpening Stone Sales Union and Kyoto Blade Union.

Sorry Ken. I never had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Tanaka and I’m shocked to hear this since he was relatively young.

Yes, he passed away at 56 years of age
