Re: Hunting knives?
I have no idea if any of the makers here make outdoor knives but I have always liked my LT Wright knives. They are production but hand made in a small shop in Ohio. Just thinking out loud. I believe SteveG has a few as well.
Re: Hunting knives?
Mark did carry a few from Takeda. They were very nice...and pricey. Search my YT channel to find the videos.

As a maker who has collaborated with Tim, I would enjoy the opportunity to recommend him!raleighcook15 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 15, 2017 8:57 am Perfect, I'll definitely recommend him. I have a petty he m made that I love and his pass around knife was out of this world!

Look great. You know, I still like me some well treated 1084. It takes a wicked colorful natural patina and feels wonderful on the stones.

Kurosaki makes some beautiful ones as well. I constantly want to pick one up for my dad, but they're around $400 as well.
I'm Dave. I don't take myself too seriously and you probably shouldn't either.
Re: Hunting knives?
I make some outdoor knives. There's a thread for them in my subforum if you want to take a look.

Re: Hunting knives?
I can attest to timos' cutlery, both in outdoor and indoor. Guy's got a serious knack for grind and an acute eye for detail. He's also incredibly accommodating and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend. I won't leave for work without his petty in my roll anymore.
