Knife roll
Re: Knife roll
I use the Boldric one buckle knife roll. 5 270mm gyutos, one is 290mm that I leave on the end and let the saya hang out but it will also fit under the big canvas flap. 210mm slicer, 190mm garasuki, bread knife and parying knife. All knives have sayas except for the bread and parying that just have the plastic/felt guards. It’s tight but works well for me.

Re: Knife roll
+1 for the Boldric but it's the only one I've used. That's an impressive amount of steel to fit in there, Cashn.Cashn wrote: ↑Thu Nov 15, 2018 12:03 am I use the Boldric one buckle knife roll. 5 270mm gyutos, one is 290mm that I leave on the end and let the saya hang out but it will also fit under the big canvas flap. 210mm slicer, 190mm garasuki, bread knife and parying knife. Things have de-railed a bit: The cooking gig was above Chico, near Paradise. We're not sure what we'll be doing, but it might be a Costco Christmas in LA instead.
