A few of the knives that shipped out this week
Restoration of a Schrade 735 Mariner with new Koa scales. This was for the uncle of one of our members, a former member of the United States Coast Guard.....my dad was also USCG, so this was a special project.
Two Kato 210's...fun anytime to have 2 identical blades and see the minute differences. Knife top in the first pic has a spalted jatoba handle and the other knife is mammoth ivory and bog oak.

Here is a matched set of Konosuke Keiai NT's, a 210mm gyuto and a 150mm petty. Handles are Australian spindle mallee with horn and nickel accents. The sayas are ribbon sapele.
Thanks for looking.

You do awesome work. Really have no need for this type of knife but love what you did for the handle and saya.

NONE...nothing....nada.
Maybe I will grind....oh, the 5 gallon water bucket for cooling is a solid block of ice.
Maybe I will polish blades.....nope, my Windex (used as a lubricant) is blue ice.
Maybe I will sharpen....naw, the spray bottle for wetting the shop Shaptons is froze up.
Maybe I will drink....bingo! My whiskey is good to go.
Just sitting around waiting on this cold weather to pass....was 12F in the shop this morning.

You got your work cut out for you, Carter (pun intended). Those are some nice looking blades. I like that knife..fourth one from the right. Is that a Hinoura?

There are no markings on it. Don't think I am going to try and sharpen...it is probably sharp enough and given the weight, "it will kill"

It makes me think if a Jay Fisher design. It's remarkable how overdesigned combat knives are. I guess knowing what it was like to be an 18 year old boy I probably would have had a few of these if I had gone a-soldiering, too, but if they like sharp things the joke is on them; almost every knife I own has seen hours more intended use than almost every combat knife ever made.
