Here is a pic of my table for all those who did not make it. A few of the maple handle lasers will be on the CKTG site. If anyone is interested in the others let me know!
That K-tip is gorgeous!

Re: Chicago Knife Show
Chicago would be fun, so would San Fran - never been to a knife show, but l just might be able to con the better half if she would find the restaurants great. Keeping her happy means life is good. It might be good for me to go to a show - probably much better than going to New York and going to Korin for a new knife (I think that tradition is over after my experiences here).

Re: Chicago Knife Show
I don't know about all that but I definitely got a lot more attention than I ever expected. I really debated on taking all the knives I did because I felt others might find them too pedestrian but it turned out they were knives that many were very interested in. Glad I brought them for all to see....
I didn't spend near as much time as I meant to checking out some of the vendors because my knives drew so much attention! This might have saved me a bunch of money in the long run. It was so much fun though BS'ing knives and just hangin' out with everyone. The show seemed to fly by too, I wish it had been twice as long!

Masamoto KS (2012 Make)
Masakage Koishi 240mm
Kurosaki AS 240mm
Kurosaki Megumi R2 240mm
Makoto W2 240
Mazaki 215mm (From Cleancut)
TF Nashiji 210mm
TF Nashiji 240mm
Toyama 240mm
Toyama Damascus 240mm
Kato 240mm Standard
Pre-crazy Shaun Fernandez 230mm Yo handle in s35vn
The only thing I bought was a Marko Tsourkan 240mm 52100. His table was right next to me!

Re: Chicago Knife Show
Folks,
It was such a pleasure be there! I would like to meet Mark Richmond in person for some 10 years! And I did it!
I knew a lot of VERY nice people: Christopher Dean, Jason B., Don Traup, Susan Richmond, Tim, who lent me a knife and his wife... People certainly I will never forget.
I purchased a cutboard from "TheTimberedWolf"
And I see "the show" of Jason B. sharpening!
He doesn't sharp; he dances on the whetstone!!!
About the Brazilian Whetstones. A lot of people made some try and the stones. And like them.
Jason B. got two of mine stones. And I will five more to him. So, he will get almost a complete set.

I don't think he did. If he did I missed him which I would find hard to believe.
