This is so tempting. I haven’t tried a MM out yet, I’m gonna go meditate. Didn’t know they made these in a 270, 53mm of height too.

I love my 230, one of my favorites. I was tempted too, but I have a trip to Japan later this year and have cut off all knife buying till I get there.

Yeh the measurement is along the spine I think, hence 270 is more like a 240 .. looks beastly, something about tip proportions.

2.2 mm at the spine is true laser territory. The 240s were thicker at the spine. I really enjoyed the 240. I'm unsure if I would like the extra thinning of the spine. They do look really nice and I will try to get one, if they are there when Im not so broke. @Sean can you just buy me one? My birthday is coming soon.

I got mine today. Not sure if I'm gonna keep it...doesn't feel right in my hand. Expected it to be a little heavier.

I guess it's balanced so well it just doesn't feel like there's much there. I might have gotten the sample they used for the product page because it's just over 6.8 oz.
