Konosuke Fujiyama 210s Gyutos on Deck

Post by ChefKnivesToGo »

We’re getting some in White #1 and Blue #2. They just were airmailed to us so I expect them inside a week if they clear customs quickly.

I’m going to put these on in dries and drabs at different times of the day to give you some extra chances to get them. I’ll try and be random. Sign back up if you don’t get one since if I get 5 of one I’ll release 3 and then do the other 2 the following day. This should benefit you guys since you folks are the most committed.

We seem to be getting a more steady supply so hopefully this continues and we can get off this mary go round of high drama and disappointment and frustration. :)

I don’t think there are any wide bevels or you probably would have mentioned it but I thought I would ask, just in case.

The ebony/khii handles already sold out, while the single piece handled ones are still there.

I’ve had both. For what it’s worth, I prefer the W#1.

For the ones I had/have, the W#1 grind is thinner behind the edge and much easier to get much sharper. Like stupid easy to sharpen. B2 was easy to sharpen too but the W1 just seemed easier and better to me. Home user here though with way too many knives in rotation so edge retention is something I don’t notice or care about so I can’t really comment there.
