Thank you Mr. B and Mr. Suburban for the warm welcome.
You can blame Mr. Suburban for my being here.

Hello. New member, longtime lurker. I got into this a year or so ago and decided I probably needed to go ahead and create an account.

Hello guys, I am newbie here, and my question is, what size would be perfect for a knife used in usual home cooking tasks?

Welcome! You'd have better luck with that question in the sub forum, Knife Recommendations. Be sure to include answers to this question when posting your inquiry.VictorMackay wrote: ↑Wed Nov 18, 2020 3:53 pm Hello guys, I am newbie here, and my question is, what size would be perfect for a knife used in usual home cooking tasks?

Hi everyone, againVictorMackay wrote: ↑Wed Nov 18, 2020 3:53 pm Hello guys, I am newbie here, and my question is, what size would be perfect for a knife used in usual home cooking tasks?

I was looking for the size of the knife, but eventually I've found the perfect knife for me, classic chief's knife, from J.A. Henckles, not very sophisticated but a good choice anyway. I am using it for 2 weeks already, and I can say it is doing its work very good, never had troubles with a bad cut of a fruit or meat, comfortable to be held in hand, and not too big, just perfect. Anyway still having doubts about it, because I found here https://www.thewindupspace.com/best-che ... -under-50/ many other knives, which seems good to me as well. If you are like, always having troubles in buying something, then here lies the answer to your doubts
