Tatami Beds

Post by Fishordie »

Good afternoon all,

This may be rather random but my son asked me to see if anyone had any connections with these Tatami style beds or has actual experiential suggestions (Outside of just googling). Any Sales or suggested places to obtain such things outside of Amazon or Ebay.. Thank you for any help you can provide... if possible. P.s., I hope I am not placing this post in the wrong section of the forum..

Mark may know; he ran a bedding business in his prior life.

I have an emoor brand mat I love.
It's not made of tatami though.
It's a mat that is supposed to be used on top of the tatami.
I'll probably never go back to a regular mattress unless
A women puts her foot down.

I pickup up mine on Amazon but it's expensive and the slip covers aren't cheap either.

Japanese style mats tend to be thinner than western ones
So that's something to consider. I started out on a thicker one and after five years switched to the thin style.
