Hey everyone,
Bought a leather strop from here years ago, thought it was horse. Don't see it in the shop anymore. Is that possible? Or am I not remembering it correctly?
Also, whatever it is, I've had it for a few years. It's nicked here and there and has some residue from when I take the knife from the balsa with compound to the leather.
It seems to be working fine, but is the leather something I should think of replacing after a few years? I'm a home cook so it saw no where near the use it would have with a pro.
I store it in a ziplock bag in a cabinet in my kitchen.
Thank you!
