I would vote for "A" as well.
+1 with Lepus. If you got some momentum and word got out with the right people it could be a good seller. I agree 500 is more reasonable for a higher end item like this - twist some arms Mark .

A spoon that’s as much as a saya? When you have the big spoon collection for $70ish I’d say no for sure. I love my Kunz spoons but even I’m hard pressed to spend $10ish per spoon.

Tbh, those spoons just look like they are dirty. Now if they were anodized Timascus, that's something else entirely.

I don't think it's too much for a spoon like this. I'd go with the shinier option as well. If I were to buy a lot of them I might want a better deal, but we're talking 30$ for a functional tool every bit as useful as a knife which we spend hundreds and thousands on. Stir sauces, basting pan fried steaks, measuring, plating, etc...Maybe I will buy a couple
Re: Need Help Deiciding on a Stainless Damascus Spoon
The gunmetal and gold colored Kunz spoons sold for $40 a pop. I don't think $30 is as outlandish as suggested for something objectively more impressive. If they caught on and chefs started showing them off to coworkers, they would sell. Whether CKTG has the traffic for that to work out is harder for me to guess.

See if you could push for 500 pieces (at higher bying price of course) and calculate the difference in the selling price. See if the final price is reasonable and go for it!

Ok I'll push them for 500pcs and see if they go for it. If they do I'll buy them. I may need to hide them under my desk...

You could also try compromising to include medium and small sizes within the 1000, to lesson your risk on resale (say, 400 lg, 400 m, 200 s for example). I would be interested in one of each. I think the medium and large would be most popular. The large is serious a big spoon though, I wish I had chose the medium for daily use so will order one next time.

It’s stainless damascus.
He agreed for 500 minimum so I think I’m going to give it a try. No guts no glory...
