Re: Show us your new knife!
It's KS. I managed to pry it from someone. Fairly new as well are the 2 kono whites. 150 and 270. I see a lot of old users on here who have tried many knives, but I have not. So, I actually have my very first hd2 coming, as well as my first Takeda. Soooo, have many firsts about to come up for me lol.

To be honest, I didn't get it out of that thread. That post ended where it did, I managed to dig around for about an hour straight and found someone with it. Pretty much how it went.Cutuu wrote: ↑Mon Dec 04, 2017 10:29 pmNice! You got a ks out of that thread you posted... Geeze i really need to start posting all of my unicorns in the WTB classifieds. That is some top grade porn there. Nice!Inhuman wrote: ↑Fri Dec 01, 2017 11:23 pm
My Sukenari W#1 Honyaki 185mm santoku with new shroeder semi custom handle hated the stock handle , Alton installed a lovely purple maple burl with African Blackwood ferrule and buckeye Burl spacer . I put it in full rotation today . Man this thing cuts ! The edge it takes is incredible , and the retention seems good so far . I’ll review it further down the road if anyone is interested in my ramblings .
Glad we got this thread started . We needed it . Daily knife porn, why not? Nice knives guys !

Re: Show us your new knife!
Great knives so far. Really enjoying seeing the photos.
This one was a catch and release for me...found someone that wanted it for a Shig Kasumi 210. I've always wanted to try both so timing was very good.

raleighcook15 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 08, 2017 12:06 amToo early to say. I sent it to my friend first (I was visiting him for T-Day) and he really enjoyed it...his normal knife is an SRS-15 240mm. I have essentially only sharpened it and tested it on 1-2 ingredients. It takes a wicked edge, that is for sure. I hope to give it a first-look review just as soon as I can, but my recent focus has been on the Nubatama and the Bloodroot.
