Re: Show us your new knife!
Christmas in October. This beauty surpass expectation. Demolished an onion moments ago.
The grind is wonderful. Mid with lovely taper but stout enough at the spine to be very commanding.
Mark put a tops finish to it, really popped and still had plenty of bite. Tomato skin stood no chance.
Will easily become a daily driver.

Hi everyone.
I know that we are supposed to know, but I don't know...
Please can you tell us what the knife is when you post
Have great weekend......Aloha!

Love that angle on the Ryusei. Merry October to ya, Kevin

Very nice!
I've got my eye on that one Kevin, might be my next!

Re: Show us your new knife!
Thus far it's been a pleasure. Lighter and more nimble than my Anryu 210, but nearly as commanding on the board.
The overall grind is just wonderful. Definitely no laser, but it can see it from where it sits, and that's just perfect for me "everyday".

Figured I'd add one more of the Ryuusei
Not getting tired of looking at this grind.

Nothing fancy, but I picked up a 130mm tall petty/ko-deba/what-have-you from mizuno tanrenjo, in white #2. It's a great little knife, only downside is the super reactive cladding.

I picked this knife up because it has a really unique profile. I had been waiting a while for one to come back in stock.

It was a pleasure to use prepping dinner tonight. Making beef stroganoff, and my tummy is rumbling waiting for the water to boil

I'd have mind as well if it weren't for the international shopping. Really curious where the latest few came from. Looks great!Sean-in-AK wrote: ↑Fri Oct 12, 2018 9:53 pm I picked this knife up because it has a really unique profile. I had been waiting a while for one to come back in stock.

Sorry to hear about your shipping hurdles. What country do you live in? I do feel your pain, living in Alaska, we also have many shipping hurdles. Many internet stores won’t ship here and it can be very frustrating.Drewski wrote: ↑Fri Oct 12, 2018 10:18 pmI'd have mind as well if it weren't for the international shopping. Just rural Canada. Shipping is usually 1-2 weeks. Sure there's lots of people on here with much longer shipping times. But I'm always amazed when I hear of someone getting a knife the day after ordering.Sean-in-AK wrote: ↑Fri Oct 12, 2018 10:36 pmSorry to hear about your shipping hurdles. What country do you live in? Re: Show us your new knife!
Shipping to me from CKTG is 3-5 days. I am very happy with that. I think if I got a knife next day, I would be to close to a big city!! I will wait patientlyDrewski wrote: ↑Fri Oct 12, 2018 10:45 pmJust rural Canada. Shipping is usually 1-2 weeks. Sure there's lots of people on here with much longer shipping times.
