That isn't what I mean. On a tray, if you try to carry it, it is solid and can do so. If I try to carry this thing to the sink, it is kind of cumbersome without a try itself. Not to say it is not useful, because it is. It would be nice if the new one were a bit more sturdy.

Of course, it needs support...I hold it with the Suehiro stone holder to dump it.

Use a small bucket to dump it in right on the table where you sharpen and then you don't have to carry it anywhere while it's full.

Here's the page where it will reside once we get them. I'm hoping to have them in the next 30 days. https://www.chefknivestogo.com/yasttr.html

Awesome price on those. Anyone who doesn't use exclusively Shapton stones should pick one up.

Ordered!
I'm Dave. I don't take myself too seriously and you probably shouldn't either.

Will probably get one with my next order too.

Re: New name for new pond
It will work fine, the Shaptons just don't shed too much mud. I don't find the pond necessary with my Pros except for the 220.
Re: New name for new pond
Mark this looks like a fantastic addition. I always wanted a pond, but could just not spend the big cash on what i saw available. I will definitely be ordering one of these on my next order.
