Forum Group Buy Special Konosuke SS

Post by ChefKnivesToGo »

Kosuke has a little too much inventory on a couple knives that might be of interest to you guys. They’re his Swedish stainless western series with black pakka wood handles. I would love to help him move a few of these so I’ll be offering them at a 30% discount to any of you that want to try them. To give you an estimate, the Gyuto normally would run about $300 so I’ll offer them to you for $210. Suji will be a little less than that. The two sizes are:

Gyuto 270mm
Suji 270mm

Please respond here if you’re interested and I’ll bring them in on a one time basis. Once I see how many of you want one I’ll put a couple item pages together and hide it on the site so only you guys have access to it.

Thanks!

I did read the OP, but I just want to double make sure the 210s are not an option. Otherwise, very happy that several people will get their 270 Kono Western fix, and at a discount to boot!

Why I want one. Figure it will be about the same length as my KS or TF that run very long.

Sakai lasers in Yo run longer than Wa, taller too. Not by much though and will still be under. At least that has been my experience. About 3-5mm longer and 1-1.5mm taller in Yo than wa, fwiw.

(My expereince has only been with 210 (203 in Wa and 209 in Yo) and 240 (Only had Yo but it was 237). Two Ashi and one Tada, no kono. But I have read the same thing about the HD in wa 240. Don't know if that will carry over here or not.)
