Hey guys, I am still sanding throguh the over 150 pounds of stabilzied wood I have, I thought you might want to take a peak!
A lot of these would be a great choice to rehandle the apprentice knives Mark is getting in, and some of the high curl ones would work great with any wood!
Along with all the blocks, I recently ordered some fiddleback mountain ash I think I will be cutting sayas from. Its a really tough, fine grained wood which means your sayas will be durable and wont chip, and the history of mountain ash is really amazing. Its a Eucalyptus, and it can grow to INCREDIBLE sizes. The largest tree we know of ever existing was a mountain ash in Victoria that reached 132 metres (433 ft)!
