Father’s Day

Post by nakneker »

It’s become tradition on Father’s Day to have our seven children over, only one still resides at the House, and grill steaks, smoke some ribs, make some coleslaw, salad, ....... you get the picture. Its a day when my knives will see some use and I do the majority of the cooking. Im sure many of you are doing the same. My Father lives with me, has for several years, it’s been a very good thing.

Happy Father’s Day to all.

Happy Father's Day to me!!! My wife got me a pretty darn nice electric (I know, I know, cheating) smoker. Now the question is, what goes in first?

Happy fathers day to me - I just pulled the brisket off the smoker to let it rest. The local grown corn is on the grill now and the salads are ready. My youngest is just finishing up chile poppers before he comes over. The wife gave the nod last week to a new set of Ping G400 irons that go along with my new Taylor Made Twist face driver and fairway metals - tomorrow morning I hit the links!

Happy Fathers day to all the fathers on here.

It's well over an hours drive so we had a big cookout at my parents place yesterday with lots smoked ribs, BBQ chicken with all the fixin's and plenty of ice cold beer! Spent the night there and had a nice breakfast with them before driving home today.

Happy Father's Day to all you dads out there!

Prime rib over a wood fire last night, mushroom risotto and bbq trout tonight. Always cooking for my parents. Glad to do so. Happy fathers day to all the fathers out there. Mothers and fathers are real heroes.
