Tale of 3 Nakiris

Post by ChefKnivesToGo »

We got in 3 new Nakiris recently and each one is kind of interesting. They’re all about the same price at $129-$139.

Makoto White 2: Dude has better grinds on his knives than his brother. All you need to know about this knife is revealed in photo #4: https://www.chefknivestogo.com/mawh2na16.html

Yusaku: This one is long and well executed by a young guy who’s still working as an apprentice under his dad. But he’s making these by himself to get his own work established. We’re the first in the world to get his knives. https://www.chefknivestogo.com/yubl2na18.html

Harukaze AS: This is a factory blade and their other knives in this line have been really popular and they perform well with very reasonable pricing for a knife with this finish and core steel. Stainless cladding and kasumi finish with hand engraving lead me to believe it will be a good selling knife. https://www.chefknivestogo.com/haasna16.html

Links are fixed. Sorry.

Makoto is going to be a legendary smith before it's over.

I have tried a few, I want to own them all! The knife budget is not that large.

I am not even a heavy nakiri user, but so do I.
