Tojiro Factory and Gallery Shots

Post by ChefKnivesToGo »

Tojiro has been working on this for a while now and they seem to have completed the work. They set up a nice gallery and also an open factory so customers could walk through and see them working on knives. There are some nice shots in this video. I think that is a shot of Mt Yahiko in the opening. :)

Just makes me more envious of your trips to Japan. Can only imagine how cool they really are, what an experience it would be!

Mark. Do you think you could stock those sharpening wheels? I might have a few thousand laying around somewhere. Maybe in my other pants.

I really like the tojiro knives I have, and for the most part buy them for the next gen as good starter knives. Much better knives for the money than you would ever expect - my daughter got one of their fusion knives from me a few years ago - she still uses it more than anything else - I sharpen it for her a couple or three times a year, beautiful knive that takes and holds a great edge. These are the best bang for the buck knives out there IMHO

Much more of a large scale clean workshop than I expected. I thought it would be more of a small factory churning out knives like a Shun or Wusthof.
