I should point out, by the way, that our restaurant serves food in a communal fashion. (Many plates in the middle of the table and you serve it from there onto your plate)

That is quite the offer, but of course I'd have to cover your bar tab, I'll need to bring a fat wallet. :o

Guys,
if Jesse still makes it you NEED to try the Jasmine Cheesecake!!!
The yuzu semifreddo is great too!

And that comes from a chocoholic for do not be afraid to steer off the beaten path of excellent chocolate cake (which of course is to die for)!

The link has photos from our visit last year viewtopic.php?p=6326#p6326
Since then I visited the new restaurant at Oak Brook and had the same, similar, impeccable experience!

Devin gave me a call and he won't be able to make it. :(

I am going to offer the last two seats to Steve Gamache and his wife Donna so we're still fully booked until I hear back from him.

I woke up to a new guest coming from Japan. Makoto Kurosaki is coming! I’m going to have to figure out how to squeeze him into the hotel, car, restaurant etc. He’s a super nice guy and funny and he really wanted to come so I’m happy to have him! :)

I gave a lot of thought to how to do the money for the dinner. I think this will make it easy. Basically you can just pay me a flat amount using this item page and Sue and I will pay the check in full so there is no money counting and bill splitting to do after our meal. We’ll pay for the drinks!

Is a great idea to make things simpler and once again your generosity is hanging out. Thanks for all your work in planning this!

Mark, very generous of you to pick up the drink tab. You do know some of us are from Wisconsin, right, LOL? But seriously, this is all coming together nicely, great thing you started. I believe a good time will be had by all!

Great!

Here is the payment page for the dinner again.

https://www.chefknivestogo.com/stgrcufikn.html

I think Joe said he would not be coming until 7pm so I'll ask him if he wants to just meet us and squeeze in without paying and have drinks with us. I don't want him to pay for dinner and miss half of it.
